About Andrew Venables

Andrew Venables, the founder and principal of Venables Lawyers, brings more than three decades of legal experience across Australia, Asia, and the United States. He began his career with top-tier Australian law firms, later joined a prestigious U.S. law firm in Hong Kong, and served as in-house counsel for GE before establishing his own practice.

Over the course of his career, Andrew has advised on some of Australia’s largest and most complex transactions, including billion-dollar acquisitions, major project financings, and the country’s largest electricity contract. His bilingual skills in English and Hebrew, combined with his global perspective, enable him to represent clients across diverse industries and jurisdictions.

Recognised by the Asia Pacific Legal 500 as a “Leading Individual” in Corporate and M&A law, Andrew continues to be regarded as a trusted advisor who combines technical excellence with commercial insight.
